The main theme of the event will Material Science in the Age of Nano focusing in a multiple approach to the subject allowing a more holistic analysis of the field including from the technical and scientific aspects to its social, political and ecological impact including public perception. The event will include invited talks, oral presentation and posters. There will be a satellite schol: Cuban-Austria School on Material Science 18-21 of November 2009
