Two additional graduate programs obtain medical physics accreditation

Published: September 16, 2011The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP) is pleased to announce that two graduate programs, at the University of Chicago and the University of Calgary–Tom Baker Cancer Centre, have recently obtained accreditation for their Certificate Programs. A Certificate Program is a program of didactic coursework as identified in AAPM Report 197S and offered by a CAMPEP-accredited graduate or residency program. A Certificate Program enables individuals with a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in physics to meet the didactic requirements needed to enter a CAMPEP-accredited residency program.
