The Post article is very good, but one small correction: while we were in Rossi's group, Elihu was actually my first Ph.D. student, doing his thesis on a multiplate cloud chamber at the Brookhaven Cosmotron‑‑a very early particle physics experiment. He was a delight to work with and to know, and I was so glad for his later pioneering X‑ray achievements.
